看了网友struggledjc 的解答（蓝色部分），有的理解误区，我特作一纠正和说明：
【答】Will（一般疑问词） you （主语）please introduce（及物动词） me（宾语） to the football club（介词短语作修饰）?
——Will是情态动词，用在主语之前构成一般问句或特殊问句。Will you...表示请求。不可以把will称为“一般疑问词”。英语中有疑问代词和疑问副词，构成特殊疑问句，但没“一般疑问词”之说。
【追问】to the football club（介词短语作修饰）?是状语？
假如加动词tojointhe football club（介词短语作修饰）?是宾补还是状语，为何？
大家可以说：introduce sb. to sb. 或者introduce sb. to + 机构组织（如会所），但不可以说：introduce sb.tojointhe football club，introduce 没这种结构。
【答】都是宾语补语。一个是介词短语，一个是动词不定式。为何不是状语？由于没修饰动词。
——在introduce metothe football club中，介词短语tothe football club 作补充性状语（类似invite sb. to the party, admit sb. to the university 等结构），不是“宾语补语”。
